Fantastic experience, nothing too much trouble!
Perfect place to visit close enough to an alley so very quiet, the most cellebrated bars in town and different local restaurants or bakeries.

The location in the heart of the old town was absolutely perfect! Not on a noisy street, so it was quiet at night. The host, Karlo, went above and beyond to make our stay easy and hassle-free. He even let us store our luggage in his nearby shop until we could check into the apartment. The service was fantastic, with Karlo bringing our luggage up to the apartment and having the key ready for us. He also gave us great recommendations for restaurants, like Corto Maletese, where we had an incredible dining experience. The apartment itself was one of the best we've booked, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surprise breakfast included three options to choose from, along with coffee and orange juice, which was a nice touch. Karlo was also super helpful, meeting us after our late flight and providing clear instructions. He was easily reachable through WhatsApp throughout our trip. The apartment was perfect for a couple, with a well-equipped kitchen, reliable Wi-Fi, and a comfy bed. Karlo even helped us find a parking spot, which can be a challenge in the chaotic city. our stay was fabulous and we would definitely choose this apartment again for future visits. Highly recommended!

The apartment at Porta Orientalis in Split was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen was a great bonus, allowing me to cook my own meals and save money. I loved having an LCD TV with cable channels, providing entertainment during my stay. The complimentary wireless Internet access was a lifesaver, helping me stay connected throughout my trip. The complimentary bottled water and coffee/tea makers provided in the room were a nice touch.
Personally, I found the stovetop a bit outdated, but others might still find it functional.
